Sweetest-Tone

Many phonograph companies, as well as piano, radio and needle manufacturers, advertised their products as having the "sweetest tone", especially Phonola, Pathé and McLagan. One company, The Wingold Company Ltd., Winnipeg, Manitoba, went one step further and marketed their machine by the name "Sweetest-Tone".
