In May 1919, the assets of Multifile Systems, Ltd. were acquired by Mr. L. Clayton Ridge and the name was changed to Flexi-File Company, 1407 Royal Bank Bldg., Toronto. Flexi-File was advertised as a system of filing records that dispensed with racks, shelves, paper envelopes and albums.
